Amelia had her dental surgery and MRI proceedure yesterday and came through both with some answers. The dentist did have to extract a couple of Amelia's teeth due to the degree of decay and noted that she has several more teeth which are experiencing decay as well. He put Amelia's age, based upon the teeth in her mouth, at only 6 years of age.
While under anestesia the doctors also conducted the scan of Amelia's brain otherwise known as an MRI. Those tests results would not be back immediately but Jenny promised she would update us as soon as she heard. It is hard for little Amelia to be in the hospital but the good news is that many doctors are working at trying to unravel some of the mysteries of Amelia's health.
Jenny and Amelia want to thank those of you who have been so kind to send cards and little gifts to Amelia. Jenny says it fills her mommy's heart with joy to know so many people love her little girl. She also said that the staff are commenting on how cute Amelia's bed is looking with all of the cards hung up.
