Angels for Elysse

Recently I was given the pleasure of being told an amazing story of the love and dedication of a Philippine family to their daughter who born with special needs.  This family chose to go against the grain of their society when they chose to parent their little girl who was born with mitochondrial disease.  While many families abandoned their child once any issues are found, Lizbeth and her husband knew that God has intricately created their daughter and that they were going to do the very best they could for her.  For the past 8 years this family has worked hard to get Elysse all the care she could while in their native country but now the time has come for the family to come to the United States to receive life saving treatment fort her.

My very good friend, Stephanie, has been friends with this family for a couple of years now and has graciously offered her home to this family for the duration of their stay in Pennsylvania while attending CHOP for Elysse's treatment.  The family has saved and fund raised for close to 2 years now to make this trip happen but we are coming to you today to ask you to help defray some of the expenses they will encounter during this desperately needed medical trip.

Please go visit Stephanie's blog to read more about the love this family has for their daughter and ways that you can help be a witness to the love of Jesus for His little children.
