I cannot believe how incredibly excited we are all getting when we talk about the newest Burmans to be. Finally the closets are all done so now it is on to sewing the quilts which has become a tradition at our house for all new little ones entering our family. My friend Dana started it with Reagan and Carrington and Evelyn all having matching butterfly quilts and the boys with their animal quilts. It is amazing how relaxing I find sewing to be.
Let's see, where are we??? Well, we applied for our children's grants through Reece's Rainbow but were denied so now I am working on appealing that decision. I believe we are almost done with that. What is difficult is that these grants were not only donated specifically to our children but they will help bring the children home so much faster. Upsetting? Yes! But we know those grants came from people who loved our children and so we trust that the right thing will be done.
