All Children Need This

Every single child deserves, needs, wants a daddy or mommy to carry them to bed and tuck them in safely each night.  The time, the money, the hard work are nothing compared to this.  I know so many parents feel this moment.  Can you imagine all the little ones who have no idea what this feels like?  Our Princess did not know what a hug was or that it would not hurt her. She only knew touch was pain and she did not want pain so she did not want us to touch her.  Now look at her.  Carrington fell asleep in her swing (which she is entirely too heavy for but still wants) and daddy went to pick her up and take her to her room.  Just look at her face.  She knows, even when she is asleep, that her daddy will protect her and loves her.  I want that for every child.  There are so many children without this that we all could answer God's command to take care of the orphans and this could be the scene for them.  It does not matter if a mommy or a daddy is in this picture. All that matters is there is L-O-V-E!!  That's all Princess Carrington cares about.
