Refocused

First of all thank you to every single one of you who left a positive comment about the beauty of adoption and following God's plan. I admit that I was not feeling very forgiving when I wrote the previous post. I think I had just had my fill of comments and my cup floodeth over with irritation but all of you helped me to realize that individuals such as the ones leaving those comments are actually the ones who are hurting and the old saying of misery loves company must be their motto. With that being realized I thank you all and will continue to praise God for bringing all of my beautiful children to me! Carrington has blessed our lives with the truest of beauty and that is her very life. God is the creator of all and He never makes a mistake or a flawed work of art. Instead each of His creations are a masterpiece created with a special purpose and design. I guess you could say I am the proud momma of 8 unique works or art by the great Master Himself. Talk about being the richest person on Earth!

I look at Carrington's precious little face and smile everytime. She's got that glint in her eyes that means you have to watch this one, 'cuz trouble may not be far behind! Am I right?
God bless you and your family as you continue to do His work.

I was so sad after I read your last post that I prayed right away that your heart would heal and see His beauty. There is a little bit of beauty in even those ugly comments. Those comments are just needed reminders of how fortunate we are to have our families and hearts filled with love. They are also reminders that there are sad people out there that need their hearts to grow three sizes today (just like the Grinch :) I am so happy to hear that you are feeling better! Enjoy your 8 beautiful works of art.

I love to check this blog and get updates on "my" Carrington! I've been following her story since you first got her home, and I have to say that I love your child. I see such a feisty little spark in her eyes! God bless you for saving her from a life of abuse and neglect. You are angels on earth!
