Just a Waiting.....

Sunday mornings are a bit rushed as Brian is at work and I need to get 6 of my 7 children ready for church. This includes 5 diaper changes, 2 gtube feeds, 4 bowls of cereal, and 6 bodies dressed with hair pretties put in and matching shoes put on with 2 pairs of feet put in braces before the shoe wrestling begins. Well, I am so blessed to have our oldest, Madelaine, who is completely a most responsible young lady who just follows whatever I need her to do. I have to do things in a certain order or risk something or someone going astray. This morning I had gotten Carrington all ready when a slight catastrophe broke out (Owen dumped something) and so I left her in her crib while I went to see if we should dial 911 or not. Oh by the way, we did not have to invite those nice fireman over to our house so all was well. While Madelaine loaded up the triplets I went back to get Princess and this is what I found:
When I left Carrington she was laying down...now she sits wondering if we left for church without her. She probably realizes that with 7 children in the house someone is bound to come back for her and of course we do!
I guess she figures she might as well blow raspberries to occupy her while she waits. Oh isnt she just beautiful!!

She is absolutely precious! You can just see it in her eyes that she knew yall would be back. Such a long way from the scared and uncertain eyes of just a short life time ago. What a blessing you are to her and she is to you and the family. Also, very glad that 911 was not necessary!

Sweet Carrington! She is just so precious--and like others have said, her eyes speak volumes! They speak of how she KNOWS she not only matters to someone now but a bunch of someones--most especially her family that loves her and would not dream of leaving her behind! There is TRUST in her eyes. May God continue to bless you and yours!
