When most people ask what kind of house do you live in they are not asking the purpose of your house but rather the physical makeup like how big, what materials, one story or two. Down here in Texas our homes are mostly made of brick whereas where I lived in California they were made of stucco. Our home is a red brick, ranch, with 2,300 sq feet of living space.
Yep I answered the question most people ask. But what my house is made of should not matter. Brick does not give my children the love the deserve. 2,300 square feet of living space does not determine if my children will have a future. Ranch style does not give my children enough food to grow. So why does this matter? Because people wrap themselves up in material gain. I remember growing up being told I could not be friends with kids who lived in a fancier neighborhood than us or whose house was "bigger" than ours. Who cared? My friends were not the house, they were who they were. And besides if you wanted to be technical our house was bigger in square footage. But who's counting?!
My HOUSE did not take our princess from this hurt little child
To this vivacious shining star!
Our House is Built With
LOVE!!!!!!
There is another home that has yet to be physically built but rather has been spiritually and lovingly drawn up in the hearts of a family with nothing more than the desire to give love and security to a very special group of children in a place so lost that a road map could never get you there.

This is the home God has told Todd and Amy Block to build. Just as Noah did not know how it was going to happen neither do the Blocks. The common thread is that they know this is of God and they need help to provide for some very special children. (borrowed from another adoptive mom) It takes just 1200 bricks to build an entire house in Guatemala. In this case how is this house built DOES matter because it can only be built if we all come together! Perhaps you may help build this house in honor of someone you love, someone special who may have passed away, for one of your children, or to share the love of your adopted child. No matter why or for whom your help would mean a life to a child.
Each brick costs $25.
That’s $30,000 to build an entire house to accommodate many children, PLUS house parents.
What an easy, life-changing way for all of us to GIVE BACK this holiday season…to help Village of Hope to build an entire home!
A place where the most frowned upon children on earth can know that they belong—that they are wanted, loved, and cherished.
Would you please prayerfully consider joining my family as we partner with Village of Hope to build this House For Life? I know that $30,000 sounds like a whole lot of money. And it is. But in the Kingdom of God, seed is multiplied! God’s economy works!
We give, and He multiplies it…and multiplies it…and multiplies it.
This Christmas season, would you GIVE BACK with my family and PROJECT HOPEFUL?
Would you consider giving up just one small gift this Christmas—and giving it toward something that will have alasting impact on the life of a child who needs it most?
A safe place to call home.
Buy just one brick for $25!
Or, buy one brick on behalf of each member of your family!
It will ALL add up and be something so beautiful as we give to the Lord .
And what a BLESSING for Village of Hope as they trust the Lord to complete the work HE has already started in Guatemala!
Thank you, friends! Thank you for being a part of a Christmas miracle for these sweet children.
All donations are tax deductible if given via the Chip-In.
Funds will be received by Project Hopeful and every single dollar donated will go directly to Village of Hope--Guatemala.
Let's GIVE BACK...one brick at a time...
Let's BUILD A HOUSE this Christmas to give these children a HOME!
