Sharing the Blessings

Our world has certainly expanded with the addition of our children with special needs.  We are now involved in so many different communities and have met some amazing families and people we are proud to call our friends. Through our Down Syndrome Partnership of Tarrant County I have met so many wonderful ladies and been blessed to watch their beautiful children blossom.  Through my friend Heather L. I have become aware of an organization called the ARC of NETC and recently I was able to write an article about my journey to motherhood.  At first the article was over 3 pages typewritten in size 11 font, single spaced etc but it could only be one page in length. Oh boy how was I going to do this and still share my story?  Hmmm ok well I finally narrowed down the main point I hoped to share with readers and then went from there.  It also helped that I could link both the boys' and Carrington's blog so then readers could see more of our story.  If you all have never heard of or at least checked into whether or not you even have an association such as ARC of NETC  I strongly encourage you to do so.  The following is the link to the article I wrote on page 10.  I hope you all enjoy.

Hello Burman family!!! I'm Joy from Joy Belle. I made The Carrington stamped necklaces not too long ago. I hear there is a fundraiser for the newest Burman babies to be adopted and wanted to donate a couple of necklaces. If you could email me, Shelly, that'd be terrific. Your friend Dana has been communicating with me but I'd like to verify the fundraiser information, date, etc. personally. My email is njeosys at juno dot com (remove spaces; that's just to prevent spam!).
