Day 6
It was a hard day for our sweet Carrington :( Her gbutton came out this morning and after spending a long time in the ER it was determined that the hole in her stomach was too small so the wonderful doctors that we just love took her in to do a procedure where they look at her stomach from the inside out in order to try and put the gbutton in. The good news is they were able to do it no problem and the Princess has grown so much she needed a bigger size gbutton. Never thought I would be doing a happy dance about a bigger gbutton. I am telling you this princess sure teaches me so many new things each day. Yes, I am exhausted and want to throw one of those toddler temper tantrums just because but I have really been asking God to help me NOT to do that and He did. So tonight I am changing my blog a bit for the 31 For 21 Challenge to my lessons learned from my children with Down syndrome.

Isn't it amazing that often our children do just fine with their medical inconveniences and its us, the parents, that get worked up and worn out? Our children have so much to teach us. I'm re-reading "Don't Sweat the Small Stuff" for the 5th time! I'm a slow learner when it comes to the small stuff :)
Keep growing big, Miss C!
Aw, but SO good Miss Carrington is growing! Prayers....
