DAY 2 OF Ds CHALLENGE
Ok I have made it to the second day of this challenge but when I was thinking about it today I questioned why I would think it should be a challenge. Instead, I would like to think of this blogging 31 days for 21 as a testimony to how having children with Ds has changed my life. So as I promised I will share the following things with you:
1. Ds Fact: While most people assume Ds is just Ds there are actually three types of Ds: Trisomy 21 (most common), mosaic Ds (where the extra chromosome only shows up in some, not every, cells, and translocation (where the extra chromosome places itself on another pair).
2. A beauty of a girl just waiting for her mommy to let her hair grow so she can wear pretty hair bows.
Tania
Tania is a beautiful 8-year-old girl with Down syndrome.
She is said to be independant and active, and she especially loves to swing. She is shy with other children, and seeks attention from adults, cuddling up when hugs and affection are available.

Carrington's sleeping position reminds me of Zeb. He often sits up in his sleep and then just crumples forward with his head on his ankles. The flexibility is amazing! Very cute picture of Carrington.
