This is me and my Daddy. See that smile on my Daddy's face? He says that is because he loves me so much! We are just chilling here on an afghan my Great Grandma made but then my Daddy decides we should spend some quality time together. He says that this is a good day for us to have another first together: watching a football game. I am thinking about this and wondering why is Mommy taking out her phone for another picture but then I remember her talking about all of my firsts and this
is my first football game. I wonder why the living room cleared out and it is only Daddy and me? Wait, I think I smell chocolate chip muffins!

This is my view of this thing called football. All I see is a bunch of very big boys chasing after a ball and pushing and shoving each other. Didn't they learn when their mommies told them to share and that hands were for hugs not hurting? Maybe my mom should go talk to them. Now I see why she tells Daddy that my big brother Ethan will never (and she really means NEVER) play football.

And this is my thought on this thing called football. I would rather be shopping. Umm MOMMY!!!! Come get me please and take me to the mall. We can have a "first" there if you want. It can be my "first" time to try on a fall outfit for my first "fall". Mommy? Are you going to rescue me Mommy?! Don't you need to change me or something? Oh great! I think those guys who are supposed to be winning forgot about that because according to my very smart brain (my mommy says I am advanced:) ) they have a smaller number than that other team and I just saw that other team run all the way down the field. Hmmm...sorry Daddy but I really think I should leave this thing of football up to you and Hudson to do because I really do better at shopping. But I do LOVE you so Daddy!! I will even let you stay wrapped around my finger!

I swear I envy that girls perfect eyebrows! lol.
Carrington, I actually really love football! I hated it until I finally understood the game and the rules and how things worked and then it became one of the most exciting sports to watch! My fiance taught me the rules of the game by teaching me how to play it on a video game a little over 10 years ago (God rest his soul) and ever since then, I could actually watch football and grew to really LOVE it!!! Don't give up just yet! lol
But I agree, shopping will always win in the end!
Got a chuckle out of this one. I agree with you, I think a shopping trip would be so much better than watching football. Just make sure you shop till you drop...all girls have to do that. You are a sweetie!!
Dear Carrington,
I am so glad you are a Daddy's girl. You deseve to be spoiled and loved on all the time. I think you should keep watching Football with Daddy ;)

Hey Princess Carrington, football isn't my thing either--but there's nothing quite like a daddy's love, is there! And a mommy's too for that matter so I'm glad you have the best of both worlds even if it means having to "tolerate" an occasional football game lol!
