A Story

Once upon a time a family was told they could not save all of the orphans in a certain Eastern European country. This family was blessed with a mom and dad who did not listen to nay sayers who weren't really being cruel, they were just misinformed. This family, like so many other families, in a kingdom known as God's Kingdom chose to answer a call from the mightiest of all kings. A decree was sent out by this King of all Kings to defend the ones who do not have a voice. Now, not all those who answered this decree defended the ones without a voice in the same manner but nevertheless they still defended them. Some chose to leave the comfort of their dwelling to venture to a land filled with unknowns in order to save one, and sometimes more than one, who had no one. While others sent out decrees of their own to those in other parts of this mighyt King's kingdom making them aware of the plight of ones without a voice. Yet others would go on to graciously give of their time and meager earnings to help those who were called to travel out of the mighty King's kingdom into a land filled with those who were not part of the mighty kingdom. Answering the King's decree took on many a different forms yet each was vital to fulfilling the King's command. Educating the young lads and ladies of the land about these special little ones who were just waiting for someone to be their voice was proving to be just as mighty of a way to defend these treasures of the King as was traveling afar to answer the King's decree. This family who was told they could not save all of the special treasures in this far off land decided that their travels would not be the only way they would pay honor to their King. Instead they continued to declare to all in the land about the beauty and wonder of these precious treasures. Sometimes going up against those with sticks and stones was one of the toughest battles this family could encounter but their mighty King equipped them with the necessary tools to do battle with those who opposed His decree. Concern of becoming an outcast to those in their village or surrounding villages was not of concern. Their only concern was doing what they could. So many who came into contact with the family soon would also become one of the King's warriors setting out to defend those without a voice. One little lad who constantly journeyed to this family's dwelling soon became a lad with a heart for the King's treasures. Now this little lad was young and had not been very far out of his land to encounter much of the evil of this far away land yet he was already making his kingdom a better place just by being a loving and accepting young lad. In years to come it will be the little ones in this kingdom who will continue to break down the walls and bring forth the King's decree that all shall defend the weak and voiceless. Change will not come immediately to this kingdom but rather than then throw up their arms in defeat, many are continuing to reach into far away lands to answer their beloved King's decree. The family knows that they can defend those without a voice and will continue to do so until every last little treasure is safe in the arms of the ever glorious kingdom of this land's King.
