Meanwhile she continues to amaze all of her doctors and nurses with just how big she has gotten. These are the same wonderful people who saw a very sick and dying little girl just 3 1/2 months ago and literally saved her life. Carrington never would have received this level of care, if she received any at all, nor would she feel the love and prayers each nurse and doctor gave to her. There are times we, here in America, want to complain about our healthcare (I admit I have from time to time been one of those) but when I see what medical conditions are like for children with disabilities in Eastern Europe and what they are here I have been convicted. Convicted to be more thankful. More thankful that we wait for a long time to see a specialist who will actually care about and honestly treat my children. More thankful for the time I must spend making phone calls for dr appts. and driving to all of them. Carrington is alive because God has given us so many men and women who work tirelessly to provide outstanding quality medical care to her. You know, to think that there are so many orphans who would still be alive if only they had received the slightest of medical care makes my heart heavy. Our family is burdened, along with Stephanie and Boston, to begin making sure we can help those beautiful angels left behind. The doctors here leave no stone unturned when it comes to Carrington's care so when we leave here we will once again be assured of our daughter's health:)
Just take a look at these arms. Aren't they beautiful?!
Look at little Princess sitting up all on her own. She sure is using those muscles.
Hello World!! Just to see Carrington sitting up and holding her head up to look at me is a miracle. Oh how I love this little girl!!UPDATE: Carrington is going home today!!!

Yay - so glad she is going HOME!!! We have been storming HEAVEN like crazy for your sweet girl!!! Thank GOD!!!!!!
She is so beautiful. I am glad to see she is going back home. I, too, feel so blessed to live in the USA and will remember not to complain when I have to wait an extra 40 minutes for my appointment.
I just love seeing her sitting up all by herself!
That definitely looks like a different child than you brought home and I can't believe its already been 3 1/2 months. It sounds like you are at one of the finest hospitals, thank God! Our daughter was cared for at Seattle Childrens Hospital the first 8 weeks of her life and we left there knowing that each and every doctor took care of her as if she was their own. What a wonderful feeling. Congrats on busting Carrington out of there (even if it is a great place :)
Look at her sitting up! Crazy to think that she's the same little girl who could barely move because of how weak she was just a few months ago. What a beautiful princess. And so glad to hear the doctors are taking such great care of her.
I just love how her hair is growing out. :) Lovely!
So glad to hear that she's doing better! Love seeing her sit up, too! Will continue to pray for her health issues!

I am so glad to see little Carrington's chubby cheeks and sparkling eyes. What a lovely little girl! So glad she is blessed to have such a great medical team on her side!
I'm so glad she is well enough to go home. :) She is beautiful and I love seeing her look so healthy!
oh my how she is growing! will continue praying for your sweet girl :)
Wow! I love seeing how she has filled out!
Isn't it amazing the difference love and care can do for a little one! I have a just-turned 4 year old, so Carrington's condition when you brought her home really struck me hard! So grateful to see the changes! May blessings continue to pour down on Carrington in particular and on your whole family!
YAY for Carrington going home!
I am amazed at how healthy she is looking (even while dealing with infections). Her arms are beautiful as they look like a typical kiddos arms instead of little twigs! What a beautiful girl who is so loved by her family. Thank you for reminding me to be thankful while making phone calls as we do indeed have many options while caring for our special kids.
