14.7 Pounds!

On her way to becoming a beautiful butterfly!

Carrington is doing great! Her path has finally taken a turn for the better and she is really on her way to becoming the child God has always intended for her to become! She is taking feeds of 150 MLs every four hours (except for 8 hours overnight she is on 45MLs/hour)!! Wowza! I remember when her feeds started at 5MLs/hour because she was so malnoursihed and she could hardly tolerate that! Her teeth have stopped bleeding but Shelly says she has been clicking her tongue around looking for the missing teeth! Ha!

Carrington is feeling so good she decided to sing a little song :)

Oh, and she is up to 14.7 pounds. That is a 3.7 pound weight gain in a month!

So thrilled to hear that Carrington is continuing to improve! And those feed numbers seem huge compared to a month ago... God bless her, and may she continue to make a great recovery!

I love seeing her get better every day! She has got to wonder why she is suddenly getting all this attention after so many years of neglect. What a wonderful life she is going to have!! She was so close to never having this opportunity. God is good.

We are witnessing a miracle in this wonderful little girl - a miracle assisted by the many loving hearts who've cared for Carrington in so many different ways.. and who've truly been the hands of God in the world.

Thank God for those loving hearts and hands, and thank God for Carrington and her recovery! She is truly blooming now...

Best wishes,

That just made me happier than you could know! We are waiting for children to come home from Eastern Europe and our youngest isn't responding to stimuli. I know she can have miracles just like Carrington! Thanks so much for sharing this journey with us. Still praying for the miracles that are to come! :)

I am so addicted to Carrington! I check every day for updates and new beautiful photos and videos of this sweet girl. Please keep updating us. You have no idea how many people have hearts full of love for Carrington and hope for all the others. My daughter is the same age as Carrington (and happens to have that extra chromosome) and I just cannot imagine how different their lives have been. Thank God she is now with her family and will soon be in a house full of love and warmth and safety.. with lots of hugs and laughter!!

Love her little song! And so happy to see that belly 3 pounds heavier!

How are her teeth doing? Are they going to put something in to replace the ones they took out?
I've been following the blog posts and am thrilled to see how well she's doing!

Oh, sweet, beautiful little girl. I'm so glad she's getting a chance to LIVE. Her situation just breaks my heart, especially knowing that there have been so many before her, so many now and so many to follow that wouldn't have that chance. ((hugs)) to all of you, and especially Carrington!!

Wow, a foot! (That's what she's thinking, ha ha!)

YES, YES, YES!!! I am so excited to see this video! Her voice is so angelic and she is just so gorgeous. How can people want to discard such beautiful children? She is so well loved from people all over the world and I can tell she feels that and is thriving because of it.
